Sig Sauer has improved their popular P365 lineup with a firearm with more capacity but is it a recommendation for our Honey Bear Tactical family? The P365 redefined what a concealed-carry pistol should be, now the new P365 X-Macro is attempting to do it again.
The X-Macro comes standard with an integrally compensated slide with a 3.1" barrel which helps in recoil control allowing for faster more accurate follow up shots. It is optic ready, allowing for the addition of a red dot sighting system for faster target acquisition. It comes with included interchangeable small, medium, and large backstraps. This allows for a custom fit for each shooter, making it great for all hand sizes from dainty hands to the largest of bearpaws.
Some of the other smart carry features include upgraded capacity with two 17rd (10 RD in Maryland) steel magazines with high visibility followers and XRay3 Day/Night Sights to help with low light sighting as well as a full picatinny rail to allow for a greater range of weapon mounted lights.
When we are looking at the choices out there for wear and carry focused firearms, we recommend something that is expandable as your skills grow in combination with a shooting experience that is fun so you want to practice! Add in having something that is slim enough to easily conceal as well as having great capacity and the Sig X-Macro is looking to be a winner in the space.
