As we shared in an email out to our students, it is offical. Maryland has suspended the "good and substantial reason" standard for MD Wear and Carry permits.
What this means is that Marylanders now enjoy the same rights as the majority of the Nation in not having to justify their right to defend ones self. However Maryland does require the same training and other application standards as before including 16 hours of training, fingerprints, passport photo and personal references.
