Maryland Handgun Permit Renewal

Service Description

This course satisfies all of the NEW requirements for renewal of your Maryland Handgun Permit. This training is required as part of the application to renew your permit to carry a handgun in Maryland. This course is 8 hours in the classroom and on the range. Students will leave with an understanding of the following: - Specific Maryland Firearms Laws - State and Federal Laws pertaining to - Self Defense - Defense of Others - Defense of Property - Safe storage of firearms - Surrendering, transferring and/or disposed of firearms - Reporting loss or stolen firearms - Banned and special permit required firearms and accessories - Dealing with Anger Management Issues - Suicide Prevention - Application requirements - Use of Deadly Force What is included: Ear and Eye Protection Ammo Use of firearm (if needed) Live Fire Session requirements: - Demonstrate Safety principals - Demonstrate Marksmanship Skills Students must shoot a qualification course of fire and received 70% or higher to qualify. *Participants who successfully complete this training will receive a Maryland Handgun Permit training completion sheet.
